4BC is one of the oldest radio stations in Brisbane. It was launched in 1930 by an individual person and several years later it was sold to the Australian Broadcasting Company. In 2007 this radio station was sold to Macquarie Media and it became a part of the Fairfax Radio Network.
4BC radio station targets listeners between 35 and 64. One of its features is their talkback format, which means that you can join the conversation at any time and discuss almost any aspect you are interested in – sports, business, education, politics, personal life, traffic, weather, news, gossips etc.
