ABC Newcastle is a radio station in the Hunter region of New South Wales that produces local stories for radio, social media, online and television. We cover an area that reaches from Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and Maitland, up to Port Stephens, and across to Cessnock, Singleton, Muswellbrook and the Upper Hunter, and everywhere in between. We aim to tell stories that start conversations, connect communities, and shape lives.
