gave birth to black excellence in radio. From its inception emerged an
evolution of radio as it should be… Conversational, Educational,
Entertaining and Enlightening. In the midst of apartheid, it grew like a
Spanish rose that defied the pavement atop its seed.
And now, it is back to bring you the Beats Of Pleasure (BOP), an urban
contemporary Radio Station with a touch of nostalgia. Embracing its roots
but ready to break the rules.
Holding on to the old school values of what radio should be… In the digital
age. A music radio station that’s no longer about Bophuthatswana, but about
Beats Of Pleasure (BOP) for everyone. Welcome to Radio BOP, the station with
