If the song is good, we will play it. 8Radio.com is operated by 8Radio Vision Ltd, registered in Dublin 2012. It is managed by Simon Maher who was previously a founder presenter and General Manager of Phantom 105.2 from its early days as a pirate station through to its days as a fully licenced operation. In Summer 2012 the 8Radio.com group was formed and a formal structure for 8Radio.com was born. Apart from its online presence, which will be the main means of access to 8Radio.com, the group have been given a 30 day licence by the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland to broadcast to the cities of Dublin, Cork and Limerick at weekends running from September 6th to October 27th 2014. These FM broadcasts are intended to act as further proof of concept for the 8Radio.com format and provide an avenue for disenfranchised radio listeners to find their way back to Irish radio. There are many ways to tune into 8Radio.com. Online listeners can tune in to the station via the website. Smartphone users can download the customised 8Radio.com App from the App Store for iPhone/iPad or from the Google Play store for Android. The station also broadcasts via the TuneIn Radio platform.
