Em 1996, no Rio Grande do Sul, no balneário de Atlântida, no litoral gaúcho a primeira edição do festival Planeta Atlântida, com diversas atrações musicais. Dois anos depois, em 1998, a edição catarinense é do ramal catarinense da emissora lançou a mesma proposta para o litoral desse estado, sendo Florianópolis a sede do evento, atualmente ocorrendo no norte da Ilha de Santa Catarina, no bairro de Canasvieiras.
Rádio Atlântida Porto Alegre is the name of the headquarters of Rede Atlântida .The head of the network , as it were, belonging to the RBS Group and headquartered in Porto Alegre , was founded in 1981 , replacing the adult programming of Gaúcha-Zero Hora FM. With the entry of Rádio Cidade FM in 1979 and its revolution in the Porto Alegre radio market, RBS repositioned its modulated frequency broadcaster for the young segment, to compete with the Jornal do Brasil broadcaster. After being spread by different municipalities of the State of Rio Grande do Sul , until stations were also implanted bySanta Catarina and Brasília. The network’s main programs for the whole of southern Brazil are generated from its studios . Atlântida radio is aimed at young people of classes A, B and C from the states of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina . Programs like Pretinho Básico and Bola nas Costas have popular characteristics, full of good humor. Its studios have been located at the headquarters of the newspaper Zero Hora , in the Azenha neighborhood , in Porto Alegre, since June 12 , 2017 .
